Teachers visit at CERN. The ALICE experiment explores primordial matter: the initial state, the Quark Gluon Plasma, in which matter was created for a few millionths of a second following the Big Bang, is recreated today in infinitesimal small droplets for very short times from the extremely high energy released by lead nuclei colliding at almost the speed of light.
